As a lifelong dabbler in many kinds of art as well as having a successful design career, I am so happy to finally focus on just being an artist!!

My "first" 40+ year career was focused on interior/exterior design and historic preservation. I am grateful to have been hired for a wide range of projects over those years: from apartments and condos as well as primary and vacation homes to hotels, restaurants and retail spaces. I even designed several new homes, including one to be built on top of an old missile silo! It was a fascinating career both in the projects themselves and the many different people I was fortunate to meet.

During my study of different art forms and mediums, I was able to experience and experiment with drawing, watercolor, weaving, pottery, textile design, block printing, collage, sculpture and assorted crafts before I tried pastels. My "second" career focus is on pastel paintings and mixed media collage both of which satisfy my love of colors and textures.
